# Pallet Hauler > Pallet Hauler (pallethauler.com) books pallet pickups for businesses and homeowners in the U.S. A visitor sizes the pile (stacks × stack height ÷ pallet height), answers a four-question triage that says whether the pile is likely a free pickup, a paid haul-away, or a load a buyer may pay for, chooses up to three pickup windows and site-access details, and gets a shareable pickup ticket. Requests are reviewed and scheduled by Repackify, which confirms the outcome and window; the site never promises a price or a time in advance. It takes wood stringer and block pallets, skids, plastic pallets and wood crates. ## How triage works (free, fee or paid) Rules, applied in order (the first match decides): 1. Debris mixed in (wrap, cardboard, drywall, metal, trash) → paid haul-away. 2. Mostly broken → paid haul-away (still recycled where a recycler accepts them). 3. Odd or non-48x40 sizes → paid haul-away (few reuse buyers). 4. Good, standard 48x40s, 200 or more → a buyer may pay. 5. Good, standard 48x40s, enough to be worth a trip (small piles, under about 10, usually aren't) → likely free pickup. 6. Mixed condition, 50 or more → likely free (the good ones carry the broken). 7. Otherwise → paid haul-away. The result is the most likely case, not a quote. Repackify confirms after review. ## Key pages - [Book a pickup](https://pallethauler.com/book/pile): four steps (pile, condition and triage, site and windows, contact), ending in a pickup ticket. - [Pile sizer](https://pallethauler.com/pile-sizer): estimates pallet count, floor space, vehicle and forklift need from stacks and stack height. - [Free-or-fee triage](https://pallethauler.com/free-or-fee): the four-question triage with its reasoning. - [What we pick up](https://pallethauler.com/what-we-pick-up): accepted items and exclusions. - [FAQ](https://pallethauler.com/faq): direct answers to common pallet pickup questions. - [How pricing works](https://pallethauler.com/how-pricing-works): the five factors (count, condition, access, distance, mixed debris). - [Recurring pickup](https://pallethauler.com/recurring-pickup): weekly, every two weeks or monthly pickups for businesses. - [Guides](https://pallethauler.com/guides): 10 articles. - [Full text for LLMs](https://pallethauler.com/llms-full.txt) ## Pooled pallets Pooled pallets are excluded: blue CHEP, red PECO, iGPS plastic and any pallet painted or stamped as a company's property are rented from a pallet pool and go back to their owner.
